General eBook Questions

What file format are your ebooks?
Enderle Books decided to offer our ebooks as PDF files. PDF is short for Portable Document Format and was created by Adobe Systems, Inc. to be a self-contained, cross-platform document. Simply put, a PDF file will look the same on the screen and in print, regardless of what kind of computer, software package, fonts, or printer someone is using. PDF files contain the same formatting and layout as the printed book, including fonts and images. Even so, PDF files are highly compressed, making them easy to download and store.

What software do I need to read a PDF?
Every ebook on our website may be downloaded to your computer, viewed, and/or printed out using Adobe Acrobat Reader from within a browser or as its own application. You can download the latest version of the free Adobe Acrobat Reader here.

Is any special hardware needed to read a PDF?

What do you recommend if I have a very slow or bad Internet connection?
Try to start the download sometime when you will not need to use the Internet so that it has time to download the file, such as at the end of the day, or before you go to sleep.

Where should I save these files when I download them?
We recommend creating a special folder just for your ebooks, and saving the file to that folder.

How do I view or print my downloaded files?
To view or print your downloaded files, you must have Adobe Acrobat loaded on your computer. In Windows Explorer, Apple's Finder, or other file management program, locate the folder where you downloaded your file(s) and double-click on the file name. Once the file(s) has been clicked on, Acrobat will open and display your PDF file. To print the file, use the printing function in Acrobat. You can download the latest version of the free Adobe Acrobat Reader here.

Are all books available in PDF format?
No. As new books are published we will post the majority of them in native PDF format. Many older books will never have a PDF posted because we do not have the electronic files for them.

The Seventh Commandment

The seventh commandment forbids unjustly taking or keeping the goods of one's neighbor and wronging him in any way with respect to his goods. It commands justice and charity in the care of earthly goods and the fruits of men's labor. For the sake of the common good, it requires respect for the universal destination of goods and respect for the right to private property. Christian life strives to order this world's goods to God and to fraternal charity. (Catechism of the Catholic Church, 2401)
